All these designs are available either in modular kit form matched with the power stage of your choice, or as completed units. By modular we mean that the kit is designed to be used with an output stage, chassis, cabinet etc. and not as a stand-alone preamp unit. For stand-alone prices click here

For prices of a small number of standard kits see Standard Build-Your-Own Amp Kits or
Custom Build-Your-Our Amp Kits for our modular kits.

see Bargain Basement for special offers on these amps

The Super Texan amp is our most popular Blues amp. Originally built for Stevie Ray Vaughan, hence the name ‘Super Texan’. A clean channel with the ultimate warm, full clear Classic Fender clean sound. Channel switching goes to a second channel and a warm fat ‘Fender on 15’ overdrive without rasp or Heavy Metal harshness. Lots of sustain while still maintaining killer punch and definition. It has all the Bass and Midrange missing from pedals and other amps. A ton of useable Tone in the graduation between clean and dirty. By no means a one trick wonder.

A complete rebuild for the Blues/Rock guitarist. Again, a clean channel with the ultimate warm, full clear Classic Fender clean sound. Channel switching goes to a second channel and a high gain, super-sustain overdrive tone with the Hot Rod character of Boogie type amps and none of the disadvantages. Some amplifiers' lead channels sound pretty much the same irrespective of what guitar you use , masking the voice of your instrument. However, the Texas Boogie lead channel is smooth and fat providing a good natural sustain that allows the essential characteristic of your guitar and pickups to shine through.

The DM-2000, nicknamed the Dual Marshall is the dream Rock guitar amplifier! Two complete channels, each with two distinct personalities. The clean channel has the elusive and perfect early ‘Plexi-Marshall’ fat crunch tone, plus a Torres design Mode Switch to change to the crisp clarity of the classic Vox AC30. Two clean tones to choose from. Channel switching goes to a second channel with a giant, almost scary, monstrous high gain Marshall overdrive. Tons of sustain, crunch and aggressive big tone - think Hendrix. The Overdrive Channel also has a Mode Switch to switch it to the modern Mesa Boogie-like Dual Rectifier Tone. Brighter, with more presence. Fat!
